The Magnificent Twelve Cruciferous Vegetables

Cruciferous plants have flowers with four petals that resemble the crucifix; thus they are called cruciferous. A lot of health books also call them "The Magnificent Twelve" because they have the ability to dramatically reduce and prevent disease. It is only our God that could design foods like this and then put a reminder on the plant that the ultimate healing was given to us by the Him!

The Magnificent Twelve Cruciferous Vegetables:
  1. Broccoli
  2. Kale
  3. Rutabaga
  4. Brussels Sprouts
  5. Kohlrabi
  6. Turnip
  7. Cabbage
  8. Mustard Greens
  9. Cauliflower
  10. Radishes
  11. Watercress
  12. Horseradish
These 12 vegetables are amazing power fighters against cancer and heart disease, the two top killers in our country.   It is recommended that we eat three one cup servings from this list every day.  Eat at least one cup raw and two cups slightly steamed, except for horseradish (use grated fresh in sauces and spreads).
